A multidisciplinary art event inspired of ' the white city '

Economica is part of events celebrating the 100 years birthday of Tel Aviv.
It is a production of students of the Art department at ' Avni institute'
students of the experimental course ' Shipting ' given by the artist\stylist
and aziza editor Gai Silverman:
“The concept of the event is influenced by the multidisciplinary approach in the arts. encouraging artists to deploy to additional fields like design and production and to bestow the viewers / customers / fans of art the experience of artwork combined with designed products that are affordable to the acquisition that are direct integral from the creation or part of the artwork itself.
The will of art to change the world receives a new approch when art rolls its sleeves and exit from within the white gallery to the white city and transformes into an integral part of the public everyday space of Tel Aviv"

‘Comme il Faut’ launches new bags

Friendly to the environment : ‘Comme il Faut’ launches new bags made of paper bags they bought from ‘Nesher’ factory for cement. bags that there were destined to contain cement but were disqualified for use. They converted them to a small shopping bags for ‘comme il faut’ stores. The idea is to make use of existing bags and not to manufacture more garbage and to waste an unnecessary paper. Talking about strong bags that can contain more than 25 kilo, it's possible to keep them and to reuse them for personl purposes like groceries, tools for work, laptop computer and even a little child. This is one of their ways to take part in the reduction of amount of the garbage in the world.

everybody has a shadow exvibition in jerusalem

In the ‘wik’ gallery ‘Mishkanot shaananim’ in Jerusalem there is a new exhibition titled “everybody has a shadow ". it exhibites works by 15 artists that work in the present period in the workshops of the artists in the city founded by the fund for Jerusalem. Works of drawings, paintings, photography, sculpture, installation and video Art of artists that create in the communal expanse in the situated workshops in the heart of the industrial area of Jerusalem. every artist creates from within infrastructure of the communal life in the urban expanse of the city. The shadow of the artistic work is a confrontation with limitations of the body, the human or the inanimate, with the perception of the self and of the reality around and with the splitting of all of this. The artists in the exhibition : Eti Abergil, Dan Aorimian, Shai Azolai, Sharon balaban, Assaf ben Tsvi, masha Zosman, Talia Toktali, Arian Litman, AVI Sabah, Yanai Segal, Ronen Siman Tov, Maya Motsa'bski Parnas, julia Rabski, Yael Rocman, Li Hi Sholob.

Shock Art - Mike Marcus

Mike Marcus is a conceptual street artist and photographer born in the UK and now working between London and Tel Aviv
He is best known for his iconic images of a mannequin wearing a gas mask which appeared in their thousands on the streets of London and New York during 2008.
Marcus' art ranges from harshly political pieces such as the "CS" series where he exposed himself to tear gas and photographed the results to more subtle commentary on states of isolation within contemporary urban society.
His practice spans "urban" and "fine" art, blatantly refusing to fit into a single genre.
